West 14th St, Chelsea

In the early decades of the twentieth-century, the area surrounding the west end of 14th Street, extending north into Chelsea and south into the West Village, became known as Little Spain.  The current presence, and historical traces, of Spaniards and Spanish culture around West 14th Street are ubiquitous.
